About Atronova
What does Atronova do?
Atronova is a technology company that builds and runs software for other businesses. We deliver six services — AI, cybersecurity, Microsoft migrations, cloud-native development, data analytics and custom software — and we make our own product, Atronova DMS, a document management system for Microsoft 365.
Who does Atronova work with?
We work with mid-size and enterprise organisations, usually ones already running on Microsoft 365 and Azure. Projects range from a single AI prototype to a full cloud migration, so there’s no minimum size — there’s a clear problem to solve.
Do you only work with Microsoft technologies?
No, but it’s our home turf. We’re deepest in Azure, Microsoft 365 and Entra, so if you’re a Microsoft shop everything fits together neatly. When a job calls for it, we also build with React, .NET, Databricks and the wider cloud-native stack.
How is Atronova different from a typical consultancy?
We build and stay, instead of handing over a slide deck and leaving. Every engagement ships working software with tests, guardrails and monitoring — and we can keep running it afterwards rather than walking away at go-live.
How do projects usually start?
Most start with a short scoping call, then a small discovery or a two-to-three-week prototype. That way you see something real before committing to a bigger build. Book a demo or contact us and we’ll set it up.
Our services
What technology services does Atronova provide?
Atronova provides six services: AI solutions, cybersecurity, Microsoft migrations, cloud-native development, data analytics and custom software. One team covers all of them, so the parts fit together instead of needing several vendors.
Can you handle a project that spans several services?
Yes — most real projects do. A cloud migration often needs security and data work alongside it, and we staff a single team across the lot rather than handing you between suppliers.
How do we choose the right service?
Start with the outcome you want, not the label. Tell us the problem on a short call and we’ll point you to the right mix — sometimes it’s one service, often it’s two or three working together.
Do you offer ongoing support, or just one-off projects?
Both. We deliver fixed-scope projects, and we can stay on to run and improve what we build — monitoring, updates and a roadmap included.
AI solutions
What AI solutions does Atronova build?
We build practical AI that does a real job — chat assistants and copilots over your own data, document reading and extraction, and AI agents that take action in your systems. It runs on Azure OpenAI with testing and guardrails so it’s safe for everyday use.
How long does it take to build an AI assistant?
Most teams see a working prototype in two to three weeks. We start with one real use case, prove the value, then harden it with evaluation and monitoring before it goes live.
Is it safe to use AI on company data?
Yes, when it’s built right. We keep your data in your own Azure environment, add guardrails for privacy and cost, and put evaluation in place to catch wrong or drifting answers before your users do.
What’s the difference between a chatbot and an AI agent?
A chatbot answers questions; an agent also takes action. We build both — an assistant that answers over your data, or an agent that can update a record, file a ticket or start a workflow, connected safely to your systems.
How do you stop AI from giving wrong answers?
We measure it instead of hoping. Every assistant ships with an evaluation suite that scores accuracy, plus guardrails and monitoring that flag drift, so you can trust it over time.
Cybersecurity
What cybersecurity services does Atronova offer?
We focus on identity-first, zero-trust security: access control, security testing, identity and access management with Microsoft Entra, and getting you audit-ready for SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
What is zero-trust security, in plain terms?
Zero trust means no one is trusted by default — every person and device has to prove who they are and only gets the access they actually need. We set that up across identity, devices and network without making daily work harder.
Can you help us pass a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audit?
Yes. We close the gaps first with threat modelling and testing, then put the controls and audit trails in place so you can show an auditor exactly what they need.
How do you find security weaknesses?
Through threat modelling and penetration testing. We think like an attacker to find the gaps, rank them by real risk, then help you close the ones that matter most first.
Will tighter security slow my team down?
It shouldn’t. Done well, single sign-on and MFA make signing in simpler, and access just works for the right people. The aim is a smaller attack surface your team barely notices.
Microsoft migrations
What does a Microsoft 365 migration involve?
A Microsoft 365 migration moves your email, files and sites into Microsoft 365 — or between tenants — with permissions and history kept intact. We map everything first, pilot with a small group, then move the rest in planned batches.
Will we lose files or permissions during the migration?
No — keeping content and permissions intact is the whole point. We inventory everything up front, flag anything risky before we touch it, and move in batches so nothing is lost and access stays correct.
How long does a tenant-to-tenant migration take?
It depends on size, but most run a few weeks from inventory to cutover. A small pilot group moves first so we catch issues early, then the bulk follows in scheduled waves.
Can you merge or split Microsoft 365 tenants?
Yes. Whether you’re merging after an acquisition or splitting off a division, we remap accounts, mailboxes and SharePoint cleanly so people land in the right place.
Will my team keep working during the move?
Yes. We use phased cutovers and short guides so people keep working throughout, and pick up right where they left off after each batch.
Cloud-native development
What does cloud-native development mean?
Cloud-native means building software designed for the cloud from the start — small services, automated pipelines and built-in monitoring — so it scales on demand and is cheaper to run. We build on Azure and Kubernetes.
Should we use Kubernetes or serverless?
It depends on the workload. We use Azure Kubernetes for complex, always-on systems and serverless — Functions and Container Apps — where you want to pay only for what runs. Often the answer is a mix, and we’ll size it with you.
How do you make releases safer?
With automated pipelines and infrastructure-as-code. Every change is built, tested and released the same way, environments are repeatable, and monitoring is built in so problems surface before users hit them.
Can you modernise an old application?
Yes. We move legacy apps to the cloud step by step — containerising, splitting out services and adding pipelines — so you cut outages and ship faster without a risky big-bang rewrite.
Data analytics
What can Atronova’s data analytics do for us?
We turn scattered data into clear answers — building data platforms, pipelines and Power BI dashboards on Microsoft Fabric, Synapse or Databricks, with the governance that makes the numbers trustworthy.
What is a lakehouse, and do we need one?
A lakehouse is a single place that handles both raw data and analytics, so you don’t run two separate systems. You probably need one if your data is spread across tools and your reports don’t agree — but we’ll tell you honestly if something simpler fits.
Why don’t people trust our current dashboards?
Usually because the data behind them isn’t checked. We add lineage, catalogues and quality checks so every number traces back to a source — which is what turns a dashboard people ignore into one they rely on.
Which tools do you build on?
Mainly Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Databricks and Power BI, with Azure Data Factory for pipelines. We pick based on what you already run instead of forcing a new stack on you.
Custom solutions
When should we build custom software instead of buying?
Build when an off-the-shelf tool almost fits but the gaps cost you every day, or when the way you work is your edge. If a product already does the job well, we’ll tell you to buy it.
What kind of custom software do you build?
Web and mobile apps, integrations between your core systems, and workflow automation — from internal tools to customer-facing products, built with React, .NET and Azure.
How do you avoid building the wrong thing?
We prototype first. A simple working version tests the idea before we build the whole thing, so you react to something real instead of a spec document.
What happens after launch?
We plan for version two from day one. The app ships with handover docs and a roadmap, and we can keep building and running it as your needs grow.
Atronova DMS (product)
What is Atronova DMS?
Atronova DMS is a document management system built natively on Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. It captures, versions, routes and governs every file your organisation works with — with Microsoft sign-on, approval workflows, records management and a full audit trail.
Does Atronova DMS work with SharePoint and Microsoft 365?
Yes — it runs on your own SharePoint and Microsoft 365 tenant. Sign-in uses your existing Microsoft 365 accounts through Azure AD (Entra), and documents stay in SharePoint libraries you already control, so there’s no separate silo to manage.
How do version control and the audit trail work?
Every document keeps a complete, restorable version history, and every action is recorded in a tamper-evident audit trail. You can see who did what and when, roll back to any earlier version, and prove the history when an auditor asks.
Can Atronova DMS handle approvals and e-signatures?
Yes. A rules engine routes documents through reviewer gates and multi-step approver chains, with parallel or sequential approvals, one-click email approvals, e-signatures and a notification at every step.
Is Atronova DMS secure and compliant?
It’s built around enterprise security and aligned with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 practices. Access is scoped by 12 granular roles, records and retention are built in, and because it sits on Microsoft 365 it inherits your tenant’s security controls.
How do I see Atronova DMS in action?
Book a demo and we’ll walk through the platform on document workflows like yours. We can also load a sample of your own document types so you see how it handles your real content, not a canned example.
DMS features
What features does Atronova DMS include?
Atronova DMS covers six areas: document core, workflows and approvals, records and compliance, cases, ingestion and integrations, and admin and governance. Every feature is live today — nothing on this site is a roadmap promise.
Can I control who can see and use each feature?
Yes. Twelve granular roles scope every feature and admin tab, so people only see what their job needs. Admins manage it all from one governance console.
How does document capture and OCR work?
Drop in PDFs, Office files and scans up to 50MB each, and Atronova reads, indexes, OCRs and versions them on arrival. That means even scanned documents become full-text searchable straight away.
Can Atronova DMS connect to our other systems?
Yes. It ingests documents through HMAC-secured pipelines, email routing, file servers and Microsoft Graph, and looks up data from HRMS and ERP systems for case work — so it fits the tools you already run.
Security & compliance
How does Atronova secure my documents?
Atronova DMS runs on your own Microsoft 365 tenant, so your documents inherit its security and never leave your control. On top of that, 12 granular roles, a tamper-evident audit trail and records management control exactly who can do what.
Does Atronova support single sign-on and MFA?
Yes. Sign-in uses Microsoft 365 single sign-on through Azure AD (Entra), so your existing MFA and conditional-access policies apply automatically — there’s no separate password to manage.
Is Atronova aligned with SOC 2 and ISO 27001?
Yes, it’s built around SOC 2 and ISO 27001 practices, with the audit trails and access controls those frameworks expect. For our security services, we also help your wider organisation get audit-ready.
Who can see each document?
Only the people you allow. Role-based access scopes every feature and library, and records and retention rules govern how long documents live and who can touch them.
Working with us
How quickly will you get back to me?
We reply to enquiries within one business day. Tell us what you’re working on through the form and the right person gets back to you — not a call centre.
What happens after I book a demo?
We set up a short call to understand your workflows, then walk you through the platform on examples close to your own. There’s no obligation, and you’ll leave knowing whether it’s a fit.
What should I include in my message?
A sentence or two on the problem and which service or product you’re curious about is plenty. The more context you give, the more useful our first reply will be.
Do you work with teams outside your region?
Yes. We work remotely with Microsoft 365 and Azure teams wherever they are, and run projects across time zones — the cloud doesn’t care where your office is.
Still have a question?
Tell us what you’re working on — a real person will reply.
